Parks & Trails

Quality and accessible greenspace is vital to the health and wellbeing of residents, wildlife, and communities. Precinct 4 oversees a system of 54 parks, 65 miles of park trails, and 8 community centers. Planning the future of parks and trails is a vital component of our work to make sure each resident in Precinct 4 has access to high-quality greenspaces. This area of our work includes park master plans, trail planning, and partnerships with local governments to improve access, connectivity, recreation, environmental resilience, and biodiversity.
