Harris County Precinct 4 is seeking input for three flood mitigation projects using Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) funds from the Texas General Land Office and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Written and oral comments regarding the proposed stormwater project will be taken at upcoming planning meetings listed below. Precinct 4 will also provide updates on this projects and outreach activities on our website at hcp4.net. 

1. Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. - noon at Steve Radack Community Center for the Westlake Subdivision project

2. Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at Bayland Community Center for the Beckford West Subdivision project

3. Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from the Chimney Rock Road Reconstruction and Andersion Park Drainage project. 

Harris County Precinct 4 will provide reasonable accommodations for persons attending Harris County functions. Requests from persons needing special accommodations should be received by Haris County staff 48-hours prior to the function. The public hearing will be conducted in English and requests for language interpreters or other special communication needs should be made at least 72 hours prior to a function.
